L&RLCGAOn Wednesday 24th August the Lady Captains welcomed the Lady Vets to The Leicestershire Golf Club for our annual Am Am.
The Lady Captain of The Leicestershire, Liz Everson, supplied us with tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival.
The Leicestershire looked resplendent in the sunshine; the greens staff had done an excellent job getting it to look so well. The ladies commented that the course did play long, and the greens were tricky. However, everyone enjoyed the day and the format.
The winners with 71 points were:
Lorraine Wells & Carol Parkes, Captains, and Wendy Rix & Maggie Harding for the Vets who each received a bottle of Prosecco courtesy of the Lady captains.
Runners up with 68 points were:
Anne Bancroft & Lynn Cassidy, Captains. Karen Docherty & Ann Whibley for the Vets each receiving a bottle of wine
